Liars
Words & Music by M. Crolius, J. Christen

The situation comedy they call the evening news
Sunday morning preachers in God's name they abuse
Late night product pushers selling health, wealth and jive
If they move their lips it means they must be tellin' lies

Even if you're down and out
They'll turn your pockets inside out
Magicians using smoke and mirrors
Don't believe all you see and hear
They'll keep lighting matches till there's fire

Liars
Are we all liars?

The clever politician smiles and waves his hands
On both sides of the fence is where he likes to stand
Those that write the daily news ride him like a horse
When called upon to show the proof they won't reveal their source

To them it's like the air they breathe
It's natural to deceive
They maintain the status quo
The more they say the less you know
They'll keep lighting matches till there's fire

Liars
Are we all liars?

Where's the give in give and take?
Is there anyone who's not a fake?
I'll keep lighting matches till there's fire

Liars
Are we all liars?
